Description

Notes:

We have 13 groups, so there will be 9 minute presentations for each group. You will need to practice your oral presentation BEFORE class, as I will have a timer set for each presentation. When the timer goes off, the presentation will need to end.

1) For your project presentation, please prepare a PowerPoint presentation describing your
      a) project idea,
      b) methods used,
      c) problems encountered,
      d) outcomes,
      e) lessons learned,
      f) allocation of work for each person
      g) and possible future work (if you had the time and budget).

You can use the WWW or USB drive (preferred) with the PC in the classroom. Or you may use your personal laptop, but you need to make sure it will work with the display connections.

Make sure to test your slides/movies BEFORE class to ensure your presentation will work, else it will affect your grade if it does not work.

I expect each person in a group to give part of the presentation.

  1. Along with your presentation, each group will need to turn in (print) a group report on the project (including: project idea, methods used, problems encountered, outcomes, lessons learned, allocation of work for each team member, possible future work). Something like ~5 pages is what I'm looking for (please also include a printout of your code in addition to the ~5 pages). The reports will be due (by all groups) in class on Thursday, 12/1.

  2. Please let me know if your group is willing to volunteer to present on Tuesday. Otherwise, I will randomly pick groups next week and let everyone know. We will likely have 7 groups on Tuesday and 6 groups on Thursday.

Let me know if you have any questions...
