How to specify a string

In MF there are 3 words available for the string type: STREQ, STRLEN and STRCPY. But how can I create a string?

Wow, it has been along time since I looked at MachineForth. I did't take that very far, and I do not consider it complete. It doesn't support strings out of the box. If you want to create strings, you'd have to create an IMMEDIATE word and use "c," to put it in place.
