Description
❗ What happened?
From what I can tell, the updater is non-functional.
As I have direct control of my own network, I can check the logs and requests as needed. When checking for updates, none are made. It always fails instantaneously (less than 40ms) and never actually attempts to make a request from the looks of it.
I would also like to make note of severe overheating when charging, even with all performance features off and no (meaningful) background items. It is also unbearably slow (Likely due to constant thermal throttling.) Update: The charging controls seem backwards. It charges extremely slow and then fast instead of fast (until around ~70%) and then slowing. (Which is expected instead of what is seen.)
Update: The battery and overheating issues experienced were also a primary issue in the official firmware/ROM. It was very well repaired in newer versions. (Expect source drops in Q2 of 2026)
