 I am Balan Ramesh. I am a graduate student in Dr. Demuth's lab here in UTA. I am interested in studying Sex chromosome evolution in Tribolium species. I work on whole genome sequences and I use various tools including programming languages Python, Shell and R.
 
 Now before we get started with python, I want to decide the pace of my lessons, so that its easy for most you. So, I would like to know how many of you have no programming experience?
