Description
Information
The 5e system does not only do advancements on class items, but … well, everything else these days. It’s a great way to keep stuff contained to the item/feature/whatever you got them from.
In many cases (e.g. granting languages) it’s also more elegant than using the crutch of an active effect or making manual edits, and being able to re-run them is great for some features (e.g. Weapon Mastery).
Who would use it?
… everyone? E.g. Druidic can be granted as advancement on the corresponding Druid feature. Backgrounds can give ASI. Feats can give stats. Weapon Mastery features can actually grant weapon masteries.
All of these can be changed by re-running their advancement(s) (ok, doesn’t make sense for all cases) and will automatically be yeeted from the sheet if the feature/item is removed.
How would it work?
It’s a system feature. Plutonium “just” needs to map things to it.
Why should this be added?
It’s neat. Also I don’t have to do the work, so the task doesn’t bother me =p
