Lots of "invalid escape sequence" in regex sequences not prefixed with `r` on python 3.12

All scripts that contain regexes not prefixed with the `r` character complain about`SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence XX` for all escape sequences. Can be simply resolved by throwing an `r` in front of the strings (used on some sequences but not all).

Easiest way I found was to do a search for:
`re.search`
`re.sub`
`compile`

And I think that caught all the instances?
